How can you tell if your LPG has run out?
If you have 2x 45kg gas bottles you will normally have an ‘auto changeover regulator’ between the bottles. When one bottle runs out, the regulator automatically changes to the full bottle. There’s normally a red indicator when the regulator has swapped, meaning you need to order another bottle.
What if you haven't got hot water after changing the gas bottles?
Air can find its way into the gas line when bottles are changed, causing an air lock. The air needs to be purged by letting the gas unit turn on and off to try and flush the air out.
